Our Battery Warranty
When it comes to our mobile battery replacement service, we have options. Battery options of course, but we also offer a few different battery warranty options as well. Which warranty will suite your needs?
3/6 Year Battery Warranty
Our 3/6 year warranty battery option includes: In most cases more power aka CCA than the original O.E.M. battery specification. 3 years free replacement with the 1st year including mobile/onsite installation within the Greater Chicago Area, of a defective battery and the remaining 3 years turns into a prorate. This battery option also includes a nationwide warranty through one of our nationwide suppliers as well.
18-Month Battery Warranty
Our 18-month warranty more economically friendly battery option includes: This option does not have as much power as the above warranty option but it does have what is required so it is sufficient. This battery strictly comes with an 18-month warranty on the battery itself, it does not include a nationwide warranty like the above option.
What Does Our Battery Warranty Cover?
Our battery warranties strictly cover a defective battery. Our battery warranties do not cover vehicle problems and or human error, strictly a defective battery. Say you leave your headlights on for a week and kill the battery, or you are having starter or alternator problems, that isn’t the battery’s fault, that would not be covered under warranty.
What is covered under our battery warranty? A defective battery is in almost every case imaginable a dead cell, which is rare but does occasionally happen in the battery world. Other than a dead cell the only other reason we’ve had to warranty a battery is due to a battery post seal leak. This issue is much more of a rarity but has happened a few times through the many many years. If you have a problem with your battery and are within your warranty time frame, you will receive a new, free replacement battery, with the exchange of the old one.
Our 3/6 year battery warranty option includes a 1 year free mobile battery installation/replacement within Chicagoland if the battery is proven / tested to be defective and our 18-month option does not. If you are past the 1 year mark on our 3/6 year warranty option or purchased the 18 month and are having a problem with our battery you can either pay for our mobile/onsite battery installation within the Greater Chicago Area or make an appointment at one of our locations where in most cases you will still receive the free installation.
What Does Our Battery Warranty Not Cover?
Our battery warranty strictly covers a defective battery. Our battery warranties do not cover vehicle problems and or human error. Our batteries that we provide during an install all include a warranty but can be voided.
These voidable circumstances include: external battery damage, overcharging, neglect, or abuse, basically anything that isn’t the batteries fault isn’t warranty-able. The battery warranty doesn’t cover accidental damage or physical mishandling of the battery by you or others along with external conditions.
